Sejal K. Shah, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist in private practice in Manhattan. She practices all aspects of dermatology with an expertise in cosmetic dermatology and lasers, hair loss and ethnic skin. Dr. Shah utilizes the latest treatments and technologies to enhance her patients’ natural beauty. Dr. Shah graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama. She continued her postgraduate studies at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where she earned her medical degree. After completing an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, she went on to complete a two-year clinical research fellowship at the Skin of Color Center. She subsequently completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt where she served as chief resident during her senior year. She is currently on faculty in the department of dermatology where she teaches the cosmetic clinic. Dr. Shah has published numerous articles and book chapters and presented at several national and international meetings. Shilesh Iyer, M.D is a Board-Certified Dermatologist with over 25 years of experience in medical, laser, and aesthetic dermatology. He incorporates his personal philosophy in his approach to dermatology with the aim of promoting the health and clarity of your skin to reveal your essential beauty, harmonious and natural, utilizing judicious use of medications as well as state of the art laser technology and injectable techniques.
Dr. Iyer is a graduate of Yale College and NYU School of Medicine, from where he graduated with Honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his Internship at Beth Israel–Harvard Medical School and Residency in Dermatology at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Iyer then completed a Laser and Cosmetic fellowship focusing on advanced techniques and research on surgical, cosmetic, and laser procedures and has published extensively in these areas.
Dr. Iyer has also completed a physician-based program in the field of Integrative Dermatology, an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to managing skin and skin disease incorporating cutting edge pharmacologic treatments when needed with evidence-based interventions in nutrition, exercise, and non-pharmacologic and complementary treatments including mind-body approaches to Medicine.
He is currently a professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Medical School and is appreciated by his patients for his thoughtful clinical acumen and his honest, non-judgmental, and comforting bedside manner.
